One of the best war movies of WW2. Some (i.e. House Committee on Unamerican Activities) condemned the movie as pro-Soviet propaganda. But one must remember that in 1943 the Soviets were our allie and there was a concerted effort by our own government to show the Soviet plight in a sympathetic plight...
