Summary:
A middle-aged journalist and his wife invite a footloose young hitch-hiker aboard their sail-boat for a Sunday outing in the Polish lake district. Roman Polanski's first feature length film

by tprather (WorldCat user published 2008-06-17) Very Good Permalink

This Criterion edition has a couple of important extras: a lengthy interview with Polanski and his co-writer for the script and an almost complete collection of his short films.  Polanski's genius bloomed very early as you will see if you watch the short films.
