Abstract:

Miscellaneous office files of Michael Plunkett include non-confidential staff files, grants and personal projects of Plunkett, committee files, memorandums of agreement, procedures, reports, donor correspondence, and other miscellaney.

The collection also contains the "Move" file of background material on moving large collections assembled by NHPRC fellow Jennifer Gunter, including a Library of Congress slide show on disk "Handling books, " and two video tapes "Materials at Risk" from the Library of Congress and "Cleaning and moving Rare Books & Manuscripts" from the Library of Virginia.

Also a transcript of an oral history interview with Mrs. Richarch H. Dabney, a speech by Francis Pickens Miller, minutes of Department meetings, Edmund Berkeley's cartoon file.
