Coverage of the 1964 "car top" rally which launched the Free Speech Movement at the University of California, Berkeley. In Part 11 demonstrators await the outcome of negotiations between Savio, student leaders, Chancellor Strong and President Kerr. They prepare for possible confrontations with police discussing strategies for passive resistence and singing various Civil Rights Movement songs.
