Abstract:

An investigative report on the United States' invasion of the island of Grenada on October 25, 1983 during the presidency of Ronald Reagan. Made four years after the invasion, the report questions whether the invasion was really necessary, whether the American medical students rescued from the island were ever really in danger from the people or leaders of Grenada, and whether all diplomatic means of resolving the Grenada crisis were exhausted before the invasion was ordered. The film examines the political events in Grenada and the United States leading up to the invasion and criticizes U.S. Intelligence agencies for failing to provide sufficient relevant information both before and during the military operation.
