Interview conducted for Voices from the Catholic Worker. Folk singer Utah Phillips discusses his relationship with Ammon Hennacy and his involvement with the Catholic Worker Movement. He talks about how he first met Hennacy and about as working at the Joe Hill House in Salt Lake City, Utah. He discusses how Hennacy helped him through his alcoholism and how he encouraged him to become a pacifist. He talks about Hennacy's anarchism and how it influenced the running of Joe Hill House. He discusses Hennacy's relationship with Dorothy Day. He also discusses his own political activities and his tax resistance. Interviewed by Rosalie Riegle Troester.
