Abstract:
Jack, Ashley, and their unreliable new foster sister set out to solve the mystery of why whales are beaching themselves at Acadia National Park. While investigating mysterious strandings of whales in Maine's coastal Acadia National Park, the Landons are joined by 14-year-old Bindy Callister, a temporary ward. When Jack, Ashley, and Bindy find a baby humpback whale stranded in a tidal pool, Bindy suspects who's responsible, but she's too scared to say. Jack and Ashley must get her to talk before more lives are endangered.
