In 1967, One year after this book was published and copyrighted 1966, another book with the same title was published: The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton copyrighted 1967, which was turned into a movie, produced and directed by Francis Ford Coppola copyright 1982 and brought to the Big sreen in 1983.
