Wood on all subjects of his historical research concerning articles written for the Long Island Forum from 1942 to 1957 and "The Scrapbook" column for the Long Island Traveler from 1944 to 1947, 1942-1957; petitions, correspondence, wills, receipts, pledges, and other reference documents, 1795-1856; religious tracts, 1812-1876; typescript of all articles and clippings of all columns, 1942-1957; personal correspondence, 1938-1956; family tintypes and photographs, 1860-1927; 6 card file drawers with personal and business names and subjects to Long Island Forum articles, 1942-1957. Of note are the files on churches, schools, the John Howard Payne controversy, and a biographical sketch from "Crossroads Comment" in The Ithaca Journal on June 25, 1953.
