Abstract:
Correspondence relating to Rodell's activities as law professor at Yale University, his political views, legal affairs, and published writings, and including letters from Supreme Court justices, chiefly William O. Douglas, and other judges and lawyers; articles; book reviews; speeches; poetry; notes; typescript of Fifty-five Men, the story of the Constitution (1936); books; drawings of Supreme Court judges; scrapbooks (12) containing letters and clippings, by and relating to Rodell; autograph collection containing letters of Henry Clay, Calvin Coolidge, Learned Hand, Warren Harding, Theodore Roosevelt, John Greenleaf Whittier, Woodrow Wilson, and others; and other papers. Correspondents include Josephine Baker, Roger Baldwin, Charles Beard, Homer Bone, Al Capp, Bennett Cerf, Gerald Ford, Abe Fortas, Nat Hentoff, Eliot Janeway, Edward M.
