Physician, of Boston. Correspondence and other papers (1885-1932) of Prince and his wife; together with papers (1831-57) of George Peabody of Salem, Mass. Includes letters (1888-1908) from Joseph Chamberlain family in England; letters from Austen and Neville Chamberlain concerning their role in government; letters from Prince to his wife describing his activities on a peace mission to Japan in 1916; letters while Prince was in Paris, 1918-19, as executive director of the Massachusetts Soldiers and Sailors Information Bureau, describing the effects of the war in France and outlining his activities; and letters to Mrs. Prince from Isabella Stewart Gardner, Ivan Pavlov, James Ford Rhodes, and John Singer Sargent.
