Farnham to Kamehameha, King of the Hawaiian Islands, concerning compensation for services rendered in pursuit of a treaty; typescript copies of (St. Louis, Missouri) Argus articles (1839-1840), which published Farnharm's description of Oregon; typescript copies of articles from other mid-west newspapers (1839-1847), containing Farnham's description of the poor quality of the Oregon territory, except for the fertile Willamette Valley; short biographical sketch (n.d.) of T.J. Farnham's son, Charles H. Farnham.
