Butler, Benjamin Jr., William A., Margaret B. Crosby, Harriet A. Dwight, Lydia A. Booth, Mary H. Lord, and Eliza (Lizzie) O. Kirkbride. A substantial portion consists of the letters between Lydia and Lizzie prior to their marriages, 1858-1870; there are also Civil War letters written by Franklin B. Crosby. Other items include diary of Harriet Allen Butler, 1853; geometry notebook in French kept by Charles Butler while a student at Beaux Arts, Paris, 1890s; memoranda book of significant events in the Butler family, 1855-1906; memorial booklet on Lt. Franklin B. Crosby, 1863; household bills and receipts, 1859-1863; family history by Eliza B. Kirkbride, ca. 1914; and genealogical materials, 1915-1967.
