Letters to Morris, and to others associated with the Twentieth Century Club in Boston; autograph letters, verse, and quotations collected by Morris; letters (1885-1890) sent to Edwin Dudley of Citizens Law and Order League of the United States; letters (1892-1893) to Frederick Perry Noble as secretary of Committee on an African Ethnological Congress, which met at the Chicago Columbian Exposition, 1893; Morris's journal (1905-1906) concerning the protest over solicitation of funds from John D. Rockefeller by American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions of the Congregational Church; and 20 scrapbooks (1884-1916), including notes on interviews conducted, and lectures and sermons heard by Morris.

Includes material relating to Morris's service on the editorial staff of the New York Mail and Express, as associate editor of the Congregationalist in Boston, and on the Boston Herald and the Christian Science Monitor.
