Family and general correspondence, manuscripts, photos, scrapbooks, certificates, clippings, newsletters, articles, pamphlets, and programs include material re the Al Smith campaign, the national League of Women Voters, women's suffrage, the Youth Services Board, the Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts, the Birth Control League of Massachusetts, and the Massachusetts Committee for the Ratification of the Child Labor Amendment to promote maternal care and child welfare through the Sheppard-Towner Act. Also included are pamphlets of Ethel S. Dummer and material on Katharine Driscoll, Mildred Mahoney, and LaRue Brown's mother. Correspondents include Minnie Fisher Cunningham, Texas attorney and executive secretary of the national LWV during its first years; Eleanor and Franklin Roosevelt; O.W. Holmes; and Felix and Estelle Frankfurter.
