Dawes of Evanston, Illinois and Joseph Schafer of Wisconsin; bound manuscripts of his volume Some Textual Difficulties in Shakespeare, and an unpublished volume, "More Solutions in Shakespeare"; Stewart's reminiscences of his relationship with Emanuel Philipp, governor of Wisconsin, 1915-1921; some data on the Dawes family, and correspondence from farmers of German descent complaining of intimidation tactics during Liberty Loan drives in World War I.
