Consists chiefly of photocopies of Oblasser's correspondence, 1908-1950, which documents his efforts to secure the spiritual and financial needs of the Tohono O'Odham. Topics include the formation of the reservation, its tribal constitution, and water, land, and mineral rights. Correspondents are politicians, Carl T. Hayden, George W.P. Hunt, and John Collier, government and religious officials, support agencies, private donors, historians, and friends. Some village census reports are also included. The Perschl papers are composed of excerpts from his diary, autobiographical writings, and correspondence.
