Personal correspondence (1935-1954), travel journals, address books, notes, and mss. and typescripts of articles and related correspondence, relating to Brinton's work as curator of the Peace Collection including trips to Europe to secure peace records and her work with Women's International League for Peace and Freedom. Includes material relating to Cuban-American relations (ca. 1935-1940) and her efforts to secure exit visas for a family of Czechoslovakian Jews in the late 1930s. Topics of her articles include Daughters of the American Revolution, Elihu Burritt, Benjamin West's peace treaty paintings, Universal Peace Union, and Mexican-American relations, as well as notes for a biography of Jane Addams and ms. draft of Brinton's unpublished work on the American peace movement, Dreamers of Dreams. Correspondents include Emily Greene Balch, Heloise Brainerd, Benny Cederfeld, A. Ruth Fry, Kulka family, Paul Vanorden Shaw, Phyllis M. Tiller, Herminio Portell-Vilá, Lea Rodríguez Vilá, Elizabeth A.
