Abstract:

Included in the collection are files collected by Hirsch through his involvement with the J.P. Stevens Campaign, the Committee on National Health Insurance, the Full Employment Action Council, and the Citizen Labor Energy Coalition.

Contained in the files are reports, correspondence, newsletters, press releases, leaflets, some minutes, government documents, newspaper clippings and minutes. The papers provide good documentation of labor and community organizing in the New York Area during the 1960s and 1970s.
