Also includes correspondence with individuals including Andre Obe, Nathaniel Buchwald, Avrom (Abraham) Golomb, Simone de Beauvoir, David Licht, Zygmunt (Sigmund) Turkow, Nakhman Maisel (Nachman Mayzel), and Arnold Zweig; materials relating to the World Yiddish Culture Conference, Paris, 1937, including manuscripts by H. Leivick, David Ignatow, and Zishe Veinper (Weinper); and manuscript of Sloves' critical article "On Yiddish Culture in the Soviet Union," 1958, and material in reaction to it.
