Nixon, Gerald R. Ford, and Jimmy Carter. Includes papers documenting Richardson's service as U.S. under secretary of state (1969-1970), U.S. secretary of health, education, and welfare (1970-1973), U.S. attorney general (1973), fellow at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars (1974-1975), U.S. ambassador to Great Britain (1975-1976), and President Carter's representative at the third United Nations Conference on the Law of the Sea (1977-1980).
