Abstract:

The collection contains correspondence between Poole and John O'Hara Cosgrave, the editor of Everybody's Magazine, concerning stories for the magazine including one on the skyscrapers of New York City in 1908, the birth of Poole's sons, and a business proposition Poole does not have funds to join.

As an editor of the Committee on Public Information, Foreign Press Bureau, he compliments the editor of the Christian Science Monitor on an editorial on the reorganization of Eastern Europe in 1918. He also describes the theme of "The Destroyer" to an admirer.

The collection includes an autographed photo.
