With the manuscript of "To build a fire" are "Jack London: the author with the sales" containing "Some early recollections"; "Jack London by himself," and "A new idea in fiction, The star rover by Jack London"; promotional pamphlets for London's books; "Bosworth Inc. presents the sea wolf by Jack London" and "Bosworth Inc. presents John Barleycorn by Jack London."

Also brochures advertising two films; instructions on getting to the London ranch at Glen Ellen; "An old lie finally nailed," 1916, denying authorship of a letter discouraging armed forces enlistment; a poster photograph of a stallion and one of a bust from life by Finn Haakon Frolich, 1915; and six canceled checks, 1903-1911.
