There are also 5 letters from Wisdom to Miller regarding Wisdom's knowledge of the Wolfe family, his Wolfe letters and Miller's article on the author. Letters and cards from Mabel Wolfe Wheaton answer questions on Wolfe's death and criticize Miller's article. Perkins and Edward C. Axwell write to Miller on the same subject. Newspaper clippings and a pamphlet discuss Wolfe, his mother, and the Wolfe home in Asheville, N.C. Included in the collection is a holiday magazine article, Notes from a Western journal, containing selections from Wolfe's diary of his last trip before his death.
