Papers, comprising eight letters from France, 13 Nov. 1916-5 May 1918, written to his parents and sister Grace; a facsimile letter from King George V, 1918; four photographs, including two portraits of unidentified soldiers, one of Anzac Cove in 1915, and one of Ewart and his old 4th Light Horse Regiment comrades, 1981; press clippings; colour patches and badges; and a souvenir of Gallipoli. The souvenir contains pictures of various national flags, and a poem, from Ewart to his mother, 14 Nov. 1915, which celebrates the close bond between them.
