Abstract:
"Paul Robeson, noted actor and political activist, relates his personal history and views in this interview with Elsa Knight Thompson, KPFA and Harold Winkler, then president of Pacifica Foundation. Robeson grew up in New Jersey, lived as an expatriot in England in the 1930's and returned to the U.S. after World War II and then became one of the activists in the early Civil Rights Movement."
