Abstract:

Hearings on "administration of legislation regarding the pay of Federal prevailing rate, or blue collar, employees in Puerto Rico. This legislation, Public Law 92-392, was enacted in 1972. It aims to provide a fair and equitable basis for fixing and periodically adjusting the pay of Federal blue collar workers. The wages of these workers--laborers, tradesmen, and craftsmen--are determined by conducting periodic wage surveys of similar work perfomed in private industry within local labor market areas"--Page 1.
