In 1998, the Indianapolis Colts selected him as the number-one overall pick in the NFL draft. Since then, Manning has established himself as one of the league's all-time greats. He has been selected to eight Pro Bowl teams and has set several NFL records. In 2006, he led the Colts to the franchise's first Super Bowl victory since 1970. Manning is also an all-pro off the field. In 2005, he was named the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award winner for his outstanding work in the community and on the playing field. Through his charitable organization, the PeyBack Foundation, he has helped raise millions of dollars for disadvantaged children."@en ;
