Sommario:
Delaney's story presents itself as a synopsis of an allegedly 17th century manuscript, providing a pornographic story about a Sicilian Greek in the 2nd century CE, complete with faux-philological introduction and footnotes. The protagonist of this story is searching for the stolen golden and jewelled phallos of the nameless god of Hermopolis, which is said to contain ancient secrets.
