The bulk of the collection illustrates paintings and some drawings by major European artists from the early Renaissance into the 20th century; some views are details. Artists represented by large files include Gentile, Giovanni and Jacopo Bellini; Botticelli; Ghirlandaio; Giotto; El Greco; Leonardo da Vinci; Memling; Michelangelo; Anthonis Mor; Murillo; Pinturicchio; Reynolds; Titian; and Vermeer. While most of the images are photographs from standard commercial and institutional sources (e.g., Anderson, Alinari, museums), the collection also includes a few offprints of plates from published books.
