Vol. 2 has subtitle: And three songs included in A musicall banqvet, 1610.
Principally for solo voice (originally for four voices). Two versions are given for most of the songs: one with original lute accompaniment in modern notation and in tablature, and one with accompaniment arranged for piano. Nos. 9-11 were to be accompanied by lute, treble and bass viols. The parts for violin (viol) and violoncello (viola da gamba) are laid in. A composition for lute solo of the original edition is omitted.
