Zero lot line housing refers to a form of cluster housing development in which the individual dwelling units are placed on separately platted lots. They may be attached to one another, but not necessarily. A zero-lot home is usually described as two (or up to four) homes having a shared common wall, and with the homes positioned right on the edge of their lot borders.
