First edition. "Formed vol. vii of the 1836-37 edition of Wordsworth's Poetical works, which until the appearance of this volume had consisted of six volumes only. The book was frequently reprinted in subsequent years, both alone under its own title, and as vol. vii of the Poetical works"--Wise.
Printed named on title page verso and last leaf verso: London: Bradbury and Evans, Printers, Whitefriars.
Inserted at end are a half title and a collective title page (on p. [411]), the latter reads: The poetical works of William Wordsworth. Vol. VII.
Erratum on p. [xii].
Crabb Robinson's name is misspelled on p. 95: "Crabbe Robinson."

Wove paper, without watermark.
UVa Library copy: Imperfect: The collective title-page and half-title wanting. Also lack advertisements p. [407-408] of Moxon's publications at end. Provenance: With approximately 160 pages of original proof sheets with numerous corrections in the author's hand, and many directions to the printer. J. F. Hinckley - Roderick Terry copy. Terry's armorial bookplate on front paste-down, and Hinckley bookplate on front endpaper. Acquired from Terry Sale Feb 15, 1935. Binding: Bound in full crushed levant morocco gilt by R. Riviere and Son for S.M. Samuel, signed and dated 1893 on front turn-ins, covers with triple fillet borders and field of roses and bees surrounding the legend 'The flower for me, the honey for thee,' spine gilt-lettered in three panels: "Poems, / Chiefly of Early / and / late years", "Wordsworth" and "With / Authors / Corrections."
LC copy has bookplate of Hugh Walpole.
