An expanded reissue of the final part of The poetical works of Hemans, Heber and Pollok (Philadelphia : J. Grigg, 1831 etc.); cf. the Advertisement. The signatures run from "10" on p. v (second count), preceded by a duplicate signature "10" on p. [iii], i.e. the first and second leaves of the Contents. The bibliographical relationship of the first four leaves has not been determined.
One (the earlier?) of two similar editions preceding the same publisher's "new edition" of the same year; the pagination of the other edition is , [iii]-xii, [iii]-vii, , 444 page.
This 440-page edition is not listed in the Checklist of American imprints; a copy is reported in NUC pre-56 by Union Theological Seminary. The 444-page edition is no. 37978 in the Checklist.
