Included are files for most state executive offices, many other state agencies (including human services units), federal agencies, other gubernatorial offices and commissions, human services advocacy groups, and related interest groups; as well as files on specific human services issues, such as Medicare, Medicaid, health maintenance orgainizations, universal health care, disabilities, literacy, homelessness, daycare, AIDS, biotechnology, fostercare, and teenage pregnancy.
Files contain copies of governor's outgoing and incoming correspondence; interoffice memorandums relating to budget, personnel, publicity; organizational charts; copies of correspondence to and from departments and executive offices regarding current issues; departmental reference and bridging materials; minutes and agendas of bodies on which gubernatorial representatives sat (e.g., intradepartmental committees, task forces, and advisory groups), as well as notes and correspondence between the governor and the director of the Office of Human Resources with these bodies; and analyses of human services issues by office staff, with governor's response.
