Lyndon B. Johnson's vice-presidential acceptance speech is intercut with shots of the Coliseum, the crowds, and Rose Kennedy, seated next to her son John. LeRoy Collins, governor of Florida, makes a few remarks, introduces Kennedy's family, and the next speaker, Adlai Stevenson. Stevenson speaks, then introduces Kennedy.
