"The objectives of this presentation are to: review the prevalence, including gender differences, of PTSD in the U.S.; examine the frequency of comorbid psychiatric conditions with PTSD; discuss treatment options for PTSD including pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy; investigate the association between natural disasters (i.e. floods), PTSD, depression and violent behavior in residents of Grand Forks, ND."
