A great edition to the nonfiction section of my library, sure to be a hit with students and teachers working on states projects. This recently published book contains chapters on a variety of facts about the state of Connecticut including it's economy, landmarks, diversity of population, history of settlement and development, and it's natural wonders. Included are colorful maps outlining such important topics as economic resources and road systems. In the rear of the book is a state survey containing useful information sch as the state motto, facts on the geography of Connecticut, a list of animals commonly found, a timeline of settlement and development, a calendar of celebrations, and a list of famous persons from Connecticut. Also included is a nicely updated bibliography of additional sources readers may seek. The information in this text is useful and up to date. This book has it all!
