Land records (1753-1847) including deeds, surveys, and warranties, of properties owned in Branford, Conn., by members of the Towner and Ford families; probate, estate, and legal papers (1702-1884) of Bartholomew family members and others; correspondence (1789-1945) containing letters (3 folders, 1944-1945) from servicemen and women written to the principal and students of Branford High School describing their experiences during World War II and Civil War letters of North Branford residents; diaries, scrapbooks, and memoirs, including scrapbook (1795-1812) compiled by Martha Taylor, recording all deaths in Branford; financial records (1749-1886) including accounts of sloop Elizabeth and financial papers of Bartholomew, Foot, Miller, and Sliney family members; poetry; awards and prizes; and mathematics copybook (1808-1811) of Daniel Brewer.
