A technical manual is presented for programmers concerned with modifying or adapting programs of SAMSOM II, RAND's Support Availability Multi-System Operations Model, to a particular computer installation. The guide is divided into four major sections, one for each of the three programs that comprise SAMSOM II--INPUT, EXECUTION, and OUTPUT--and a fourth section dealing with problems common to the three programs. The analysis covers output program logic, subprograms and general flow, program conversion, and debugging procedures. (Author).
