Interweaving of episodes results in an excellent read

I must admit--I reluctantly started this novel by Vikas Swarup. It seemed to be just another "must read" imposed by a book club to which I belong.However, five hours later I remained fascinated by the lyrical prose and the interspersing of Swarup's flashbacks. He marches us from a horrifying internment...
