Abstract:

This volume presents a pictorial biography of Queen Victoria, monarch of the United Kingdom from 1837 until her death in 1876. The author paints a portrait of a human with weaknesses, motivations, strengths, and struggles. The reader sees the Queen in relationships that become history and see the impact of her personality in making decisions. The story provides an understanding of places in the lives of the royal family that continue today, namely Balmoral, and also provides a glimpse at the royal family culture that can be seen in current events. The author examines Victoria's life from childhood to death, exploring Victoria's relationships, both personal and professional.
