Very Good

I'm about 60% through the book and I've enjoyed the complexities of the entangled story lines, though they are a bit contrived and clichéd.  I am enjoying the vision Vinge provides into a future technologically dominated human experience.  The vision is well thought as it pertains to the character's daily experience.  I appreciate that there is little attempt to describe the technology's origin or mechanics.  Much of that is left to the reader to surmise a future with a more powerful, capable and reliable network of internets.
