Abstract:

Suggestions and starting points for young creative writers.

This volume offers insight on the process of creative writing through exercises and tips. The emphasis is on practice and learning by doing. Because the many examples cited are from the work of students rather than established writers, this handbook speaks directly to the experiences and viewpoints of young authors. It provides exercises and examples for young writers to encourage creativity by using personal experience and imagination, also included are quotes from great writers.
