Apparently a revision and enlargement of a pamphlet published in London in 1634, entitled: "A relation of the successefull beginnings of the Lord Baltemore's plantation in Mary-land." The earlier "Relation" was, possibly, based on a narrative written by Andrew White, the Jesuit father, who accompanied the first colonists to Maryland. Cf. Steiner, B. Beginnings of Maryland, p. 8.
Folded map has title: "Noua Terra-Mariae tabula" [Maryland]. Inscription on the map: "This Northerne part of Virginia (the limitts whereof extend farther Southwards) is heere inserted for the better description of the entrance into the Bay of Chesapeack."
"The charter of Maryland" (caption title) has separate pagination and register.
