The piece is shown in studio rehearsal, and in performance at the Palace Theater, New York, N.Y., during the Eleventh Annual Easter Bonnet Contest representing Dancers Responding to AIDS, part of a benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Also screened are excerpts from an earlier performance, with the babies at a younger age, and from Oberfelder's Expectant tango. Includes interviews with Oberfelder and dancers Denise Roberts and Paula Gifford. Nothing like a dame '97 (excerpts) (ca. 12 min.) / recorded in performance at the Marquis Theater, New York, N.Y., on February 24, 1997 ; benefit for the Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative of the Actors' Fund of America.
