Abstract:

Sound of Music : A young girl named Maria is uncertain about her decision to enter a religious order. While deciding what to do, she becomes the governess of the seven Von Trapp children who live with their widowed father, a former captain in the Austrian navy.

Oklahoma! : Set in the spacious panorama of cornfields and wide skies, farms and ranches--the Oklahoma of early settlers. Curly is a handsome cowboy in love with Laurey. Jud, the rock-muscled hired hand menaces them both. Includes many well-known songs with dances staged by Agnes DeMille.

Carousel : A smooth-talking carny barker falls in love with a millworker on the colorful coast of Maine.

State Fair : Musical about the Frake family and their adventure at the Iowa State Fair.

South Pacific : An American Navy nurse falls in love with a French plantation owner in the South Seas during World War II.

King & I : Musical about a widowed Englishwoman with a young son who takes the position of governess to the children of the King of Siam.
