A printed date of 1485 on leaf [g4] verso and a rubricator's date of 1489 in the copy at the Universitäts- und Forschungsbibliothek Erfurt/Gotha provide the termini post and ante quem for the printing: see BM 15th cent., IV, 144.
Three full-page woodcut illustrations: Rea Silvia in prayer and Romolus and Remus with the she-wolf on leaf [a2] verso; the Veronica on leaf [c5] verso; the Veronica supported by angels above 3 shields on leaf [e1] verso.
Woodcut vignette with the imperial, papal and Roman arms, and papal tiara on leaf [a3] recto.
Spaces left blank for initials.
Signatures: [a-i⁸]. First and last leaves, [a1] and [i8], blank.
