Riding his horse Trigger and often teamed with his friend George "Gabby" Hayes, Roy Rogers starred in numerous lively westerns of the 1940's. "Cowboy and the Senorita" (1944) was the first film to pair him up with the heroine Dale Evans whom he married in 1947 making them a winning team on and off screen.
