An honest insightful account from a true war hero

I just finished reading Louis Lauria's book Running Wire at the Front Lines yesterday morning. It was a wonderful book that gave me insight into what it was like to be a soldier during World War II. Too many books and movies glorify the war and turn the soldiers in their pages into super, brave men...
